They always close early. Always.
The women are all very rude. Always dread going in there.
One female staff member in particular (I'll give you the name next time) was rude and condescending. I forgot my key and get berated for it, "You just got your box 2 days ago and forgot your keys already?" sarcasm, whatever, that can slide. When she hands me the key for my package she tells me to leave the key in the lock, "think you can manage?" She went above and beyond to be disrespectful. Just because people need to go to your establishment doesn't mean you can be so comfortable as to treat people like trash on base. I asked one question and was berated. I get enough of that at work, why do I get it at the post office?
I had to mail an emergency package today and I rushed straight to them right after work to find them closed half an hour early. I called their office phone and could hear it ring through the door, heard the guy answer it. I explained to him that I rushed here to mail this package and today is the last day it can go out to my deployed husband before they aren't receiving packages anymore, he needed the contents of this package to come home or else he would not be allowed to be part of the homecoming ceremony. He still refused to let me in.
I personally have not had any problems when I go here. I've not tried to call and I don't have a box. It is normally busy every time. I haven't been treated rudely. If I have a question, they answer it. However I do see how other people wait in line and don't have the paperwork or something they need to send their package. So they give them the forms and help the next person. It's busy. I don't blame them for not waiting on someone to fill out paperwork that the people in line already did.
You should really post your winter hours online. I have stopped three different times on three different occasions and this location has been closed.
